We want Avand to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology.

Conformance status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, in line with the European Accessibility Act. We assess the service regularly and are working towards full conformance.
What we do
- Semantic, keyboard-navigable HTML with visible focus states.
- Full right-to-left (Persian) support and a light/dark theme.
- Colour contrast and text sizing checked against WCAG AA.
- Accessibility considered during design and code review.
Known limitations
Some third-party content, such as embedded video, may not yet fully conform. We are actively addressing these areas.
